Medium+and+Large+Sizes

Tested and modified for the best fit possible.

Several local companies have reached out to Christine for help with making fabric masks. Some are providing resources to home sewers, others are transforming their production facilities to make the masks needed here in Michigan. After testing several pattern styles, we have made our own version seen above (download below).

With a side tuck for better fit on cheek and a curve that follows the chin, this mask is meant to be made from 2 layers of fabric. Make both sizes to find the best fit for you and your families. We recommend that you wash and test swatches of material prior to use - check that they are not too difficult to breath through when double layered. Remember - if it is too hard to breath through the fabric you won’t be able to keep the mask on at all! It is hard to find the right balance of breath-ability and filtration but we are all doing the best with what we have.

Continue to follow the advice and recommendations of your local health authorities during this time. Please note, if you are planning to make masks for donation, contact the donation site/program. They may only accept donations that use a specific pattern or fabric.
